Roseville-based Solar Power (OTCBB: SOPW) should completed the installation of the solar power systemin November, with Sacrament Municipal Utility District interconnecting the system to the powert grid the same month. All of the powetr generated will be used by aGenCorp (NYSE: GY) company. “Thr electricity created by this solar facility providews over 20 percent of the power requiredx to operate our extensive groundwaterremediation program,” Aerojet president Scott Neish said in a news “This initiative is a major step in our efforts to help the reduce our carbon footprint and return approximately 20 acres of our significangt land holdings in the Sacramento area to beneficial The 18,000 solar panels will includw a sun-tracking array, greatl increasing production as it follows the sun duringt the day.
