JNJ did not launc a fully-human product until Aprilk 2009. In fact, only when Humir was nearing its approval in 2002 did JNJ amensd the patent at issue in this litigatioh to claim that it haddiscovered fully-humajn antibodies in 1994.
JNJ acknowledged at tria that it did not start workinv ona fully-human antibodg until 1997 — two years after Abbotf discovered Humira and one year after Abbottr filed its patent applications for Humira.”
